Revealed during Sony’s State of Play trailer reel last night, Final Fantasy VII Remake has been shown off once again.
Announced way back in 2015, things have been quiet on the Final Fantasy VII Remake front ever since. Well, aside from Square moving its development entirely in-house in 2017 after severing its relationship with CyberConnect2, known for its work on an abundance of anime games. Anyway, you just want to watch the trailer, don’t you? Here it is.
The new Final Fantasy VII Remake trailer doesn’t give much away, but it’s nice to see it once again. Graphically it looks superb, and we have no issues with the way the game’s characters have been brought to life with modern technology. The combat has us worried, though. If fights play out like they do in Final Fantasy XV, we’re going to be very disappointed.
The good news is that we won’t have to wait long until we find out more about Final Fantasy VII Remake. A better look at the game has been promised for June. So I guess we’ll all be watching Square Enix’s E3 conference, right?
