Monster Hunter: World Iceborne

Get ready for a new storyline, more gameplay options and more monsters!

All you Monster Hunter: World players will be excited to hear about all the new content coming to the game. Capcom have announced some pretty juicy details about the Iceborne expansion coming September 6th.

Iceborne will add an all-new story to the game that picks up after the main game sending players to the snowy region of Hoarforst Reach. Iceborne is set to have the largest region in the game giving players a huge amount of new content with lots of quests to go along with it. The icy region will introduce new monsters including the horned brute wyvern Banbaro and the snow-buried Beotodus.

The add-on will also let players really test their skills as a monster hunter with a higher difficulty called Masker Rank.

You’re required to have the Monster Hunter: World base game in order to play as well as completing the main story of the game through Hunter rank 16.

There are a few pre-order options available right now. For existing owners of the game, the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion is available as digital DLC for MSRP $39.99. A Digital Deluxe version including the expansion and the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Master Edition which contains both the main game and the Iceborne expansion is available to pre-order at retail and will be available for purchase digitally at launch for MSRP $59.99.

A free trial of the game is available on PS4 from today through May 20th which gives new players a chance to try it out and see if they want to pick it up.
