Rewind back to the beginning of Dante’s story when the very first Devil May Cry hits the Nintendo Switch this summer.
Capcom has confirmed in a tweet that the first instalment of the Devil May Cry series will be heading to the Nintendo Switch later this summer. This release will mark the first time the series has ever been on a Nintendo console.
One of the big questions that players have is whether or not this means that the rest of the series will end up on the console as well. We got a HD trilogy of Devil May Cry 1, 2 and 3 on PS4 and Xbox One back in 2015, but it looks like that isn’t going to be the case on Switch. It’s possible they’ll follow afterwards, but as separate releases.
There’s no set release date for Devil May Cry just yet – just “this summer”. Presumably we’ll see the game before the end of September. Dante on our favourite portable console can only be a good thing.
