505 Games has officially opened up pre-orders for its gothic side-scrolling action RPG Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. The game is set to release digitally worldwide for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on June 18th, with retail versions for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One landing in Europe on June 21. The digital release for Nintendo Switch will hit the Nintendo eShop on June 25 with a retail version coming out June 28.

In Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night you play as the cursed orphan Miriam who must fight her hardest to survive the crystallisation of her body while fighting through a castle crafting and unlocking weapons and equipment in order to eventually defeat the summoner Gebel. The castle itself, based in 18th century England, is demon-infested, making it even more dangerous as Miriam adventures through it.

The trailer that released for the game only a few weeks ago highlights the differences that have been made to the graphics during development. The team has clearly listened to players concerns and addressed them in order to try and make Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night the best it can be.

Starting today, players that pre-order the game on Steam will get a 10% discount. PlayStation 4 players who pre-order digitally will receive a dynamic theme with PlayStation Plus subscribers also getting 10 % off. Pre-ordering at retail stores will get players an exclusive collectors Novobox futurepak.
