How to Counter Your Opponents’ Attacks in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled (1)

You can drive as fast as you possibly can in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, but if your opponents keep firing rockets and bombs at you, you’re not likely to win. That is unless you know how to deal with them.

The key to avoiding being hit by enemy projectiles in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is to keep hold of pickups such as TNT crates and beakers that you throw behind you, especially when you’re in the lead.

Usually when you’re in danger of being hit by an enemy projectile, a targeting reticle appears on the back of your kart. If you release a TNT crate or a beaker just as the reticle begins to beep quickly, there’s a good chance that the projectile will hit the item instead of you, allowing you to drive on without a scratch.

The best pickups for avoiding enemy attacks, however, are both the shield and the mask. The shield will nullify one hit while it is active, while the mask will give you a small period of invulnerability. They can even negate the affects of special weapons such as the Warp Orb, making them very valuable indeed. Make good use of the shield and mask pickups when you have them and you will definitely improve your chances of victory.
