Risk of Rain 2 is one hell of a game.
Despite being in early access, it already has a tonne of content and is a lot of fun to play.
Normally I’m someone who doesn’t bother chasing achievements or trophies in a game, but not this time. While playing Risk of Rain 2, I’ve have attempted every single challenge that the game has to offer.
Why? Well, completing challenges unlock new items that you can use in your next run.
There are tonnes of items in the game, all of which offer different perks to you as you play through the game. The more items you unlock, the more fun the game becomes.
To see what challenges you need to accomplish, simply go to your logbook on the start screen and you’ll find out what you need to do. Some are straightforward, such as kill x amount of enemies. Others are a little more difficult, like chasing hermit crabs off a cliff. Completing these challenges will reward you with a useful item, so it’s worth going through and doing as many as you can.
Not all items are available through completing challenges, though; some you’ll just have to be lucky enough to come across in your playthrough.
