Previously only available on PS4, Enhance and the Tetris Company has announced that Tetris Effect will arrive on PC on 23rd July.
Available exclusively via the Epic Store, Tetris Effect on PC will support ultrawide monitors and be playable at resolutions beyond 4K. And of course, it will support both the Oculus Rift HTC Vive VR headsets. PC gamers will also be happy to hear that it has additional graphical options not found in the PS4 version, and has an uncapped framerate.
Tetris Effect for PC can be pre-ordered right now via the Epic Store, and there’s a 20% discount available. Those who pre-order will also nab themselves some additional DLC items: a 7 track sampler of the game’s soundtrack, and 10 Tetris Effect-themed 4K desktop wallpapers.
We previously reviewed the PS4 version of Tetris Effect and found it to be very enjoyable indeed. If you don’t own a PS4 but have a decent PC, we recommend that you check it out when it releases, even if you don’t own a VR headset. It might possibly be the best Tetris game yet.
