August’s PS Plus Games are WipEout and Sniper Elite

PS Plus August

The size of our game libraries are growing once again!

It’s that time again, everyone: a new month means new PS Plus games. The time when PlayStation throws more games at us to add to our ever-growing library of things we’ll never actually get around to playing. Don’t get me wrong, though. I’m definitely going to download the games and stare at them on my menu for a few months until I delete them to make room for something else.

For August, our PS Plus games are WipEout Omega Collection and Sniper Elite 4.

WipEout Omega Collection combines WipEout 2048, WipEout HD and the HD Fury expansion all together in one place. Experience fast-paced anti-gravity races on 26 tracks. You can play online with up to eight players as well as one-on-one couch co-op. WipEout is also playable in PSVR if virtual reality is your jam.

Sniper Elite 4 lets the player slip into the background as a covert operative working various jobs while hunting for the Nazi super weapon putting all of Europe at risk. You can team up with friends online or enjoy dedicated co-op missions for two to four players or competitive multiplayer modes for up to 12 players.

Both games are available to download free of charge on the PlayStation store starting August 6th. It’s not too late to pick up last month’s gamesDetroit: Become Human and Horizon Chase Turbo – which are available until August 5th.
