Well, there’s going to be a lot of buzz surrounding this game…
Upcoming co-op arcade game Bee Simulator lets you see the world through the compound eyes of a pollinator bee. One day, the tree that houses your colony is cut down, and now it’s up to you to do whatever it takes to protect the hive.
In the latest gameplay trailer we can see pollen collecting, balloon-popping and what looks like some bee-on-wasp action.
Bee Simulator‘s realistic game world is based on Central Park in New York, and the developers worked with beekeepers to help make the insects’ behaviour as realistic as possible. Objectives are based around collecting pollen, defending the hive, and the bees’ unique methods of communication. You can essentially learn about bees as you play.
Bee Simulator has multiple game modes, and up to four people can play together, either cooperatively or competitively. You can get a sneak peak at the gameplay below in the latest trailer.
The scheduled release date for Bee Simulator is 14th November, and it’ll be available on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC.
