KT Racing’s WRC 8 is now just over a month away for PS4, Xbox One and PC owners – Switch players have to wait just a bit longer – and multiple editions of the game along with pre-order bonuses have been revealed.
The bog-standard edition of WRC 8 will simply include the game, although those who pre-order will nab themselves a RWD Legends DLC pack which includes the Lancia 037 and the Porsche 911 GT3 RS RGT.
Stepping up a level, the Digital Deluxe Edition of WRC 8 includes the Legendary Cars DLC pack which includes the Alpine A110, Ford Escort RS and Lancia Delta HF Integrale. It also provides players with senior team members from the outset, giving them a boost to their career. Pre-ordering the Digital Deluxe Edition of WRC 8 not only gives players access to the RWD Legends DLC pack, but also one day early access to the game.
And finally, there’s going to be a physical Collector’s Edition of WRC 8. As well as the legendary cars and senior team members found in the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game, the Collector’s Edition also includes three months access to WRC+ All Live TV Service providing over 25 hours of live coverage of each rally and more, and a steelbook. Once again, those who pre-order the Collector’s Edition of WRC 8 gain access to the RWD Legends DLC pack.
Unfortunately, the steelbook found in the Collector’s Edition of WRC 8 isn’t included if you buy the Switch version. But those who pre-order the standard or Collector’s Edition of the game on Switch do get an exclusive pouch to keep their console safe in.
WRC 8 launches 5th September on PS4, Xbox One and PC, and sometime in October on Switch. A graphic showing all the editions and pre-order bonuses can be viewed below.
