A Knights And Bikes TV Series is in the Works

Knights and Bikes

Tiger Aspect has optioned an animated TV series based on Knights And Bikes, the critically acclaimed adventure game from Foam Sword.

Production company Tiger Aspect, known for Mr. Bean, Charlie and Lola and Peaky Blinders, has optioned the rights to produce a Knights and Bikes animated series based on the video game of the same name.

Knights and Bikes, developed by Foam Sword and published by Double Fine, is a hand-painted action-adventure set on the fictional British island of Penfurzy in the 1980s.

Best friends Nessa and Demelza, along with their pet goose Captain Honkers, go on exciting adventures furled by their imaginations.

We gave Knights and Bikes a perfect score when we reviewed it last month, and it has received praise across the board for its imagination, charm, characters and art style. Two children’s books, published by Knights Of, have also been made about Nessa and Demelza’s adventures in Penfurzy, so making the jump to a TV series isn’t too surprising.

Head of kids and family at Tiger Aspect Productions Tom Beattie obviously agrees, saying: “…It’s a no brainer for us to develop the world of Knights and Bikes as an animated series.  With a funky female duo at its heart, a stunning world to explore and two brilliant books from Knights Of – we’re thrilled to be part of the adventure.”

Knights and Bikes is available on PC and PS4.
