DiRT Rally 2.0 World Championship Starts September 10th

Dirt Rally 2 3

Codemasters is revving its engines in preparation for the DiRT Rally 2.0 World Championship esports event, kicking off next week on September 10th.

Open to all players on all platforms, DiRT Rally 2.0 will feature a series of online challenges over the course of the next three months, eventually culminating in a live final at the Autosport International Show in Birmingham on the weekend of 11th January 2020.

The heats will each consist of three weeks of qualifiers, each with a specific location, stage and car class.

All weekly winners will qualify for the quarter finals – which will take place along with the semi finals on the weekend of 7-8th December. These will be broadcast live across DiRT Rally 2.0 and Motorsport Network channels.

Players will be able to choose whether they use a wheel or a gamepad in the qualifiers, but the final will exclusively be using wheels. To jump in to the action, all you need to do is find the ‘World Championship’ tab on the main menu of the game on any platform.

For all the details about the DiRT Rally 2.0 World Championship, including the dates and locations of the qualifiers, check out this post on the official DiRT Rally 2.0 website. The game is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
