A revitalised version of Holospark’s 2018 co-op shooter, Earthfall: Alien Horde is coming to the Nintendo Switch on October 11th.
Earthfall has been described by many people (including us) as basically Left 4 Dead with aliens. This four-player co-op shooter was released in 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC – but a new and upgraded version is coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch on October 11th.
Earthfall: Alien Horde is being brought to us by Nimble, the rebranded studio that was previously Holospark. It will feature the full original game plus all of its many updates, and brings an all new local wireless co-op mode to the Switch, along with online co-op play.
Take on the vicious alien horde in 15 unique locations – including 11 campaign chapters, 5 invasion maps, and a load of unlockable items too. Play as one of four story-driven characters, and utilise advanced weaponry in intense alien battles.
“Bringing Earthfall: Alien Horde to the Nintendo Switch made perfect sense to us,” said Russell Williams of Nimble. “The ability to play with your friends anywhere — online or with local wireless play — is really going to be a fun and unique feature that works extremely well with our 4-player co-operative FPS.”
Earthfall: Alien Horde will be available for $19.99 on the Nintendo eShop. For more info check out the game’s official website, and also have a look at the announcement trailer below.
