Every New Game Announced For Switch at Last Night’s Nintendo Direct

In true Nintendo style, last night’s Nintendo Direct packed in a lot of announcements.

From a new look at Pokémon Sword and Shield to new fighter announcements for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, there was a lot to take in. But I’m always more excited by the new game announcements in a Nintendo Direct. Thankfully, there were tonnes of those too. In case you missed the Direct, here’s a bunch of games that are coming to – or are already available on, in some cases – Switch.

Available now:

  • Super Kirby Clasha brand new Kirby-themed battle game is available right now, and it’s “free to start”
  • Deadly Premonition Origins, a re-release of the classic Xbox 360 game. It’s available now physically, and getting a digital release in November
  • Divinity Original Sin 2: Definitive Edition

September:

  • Star Wars Jedi Knight II – 24th September
  • Devil May Cry 2 – 18th September
  • GRID Autosport – 19th September

October:

  • Call of Cthulhu – 8th October
  • Overwatch – 15th October
  • Little Town Hero, a new RPG from Game Freak – 16th October
  • Vampyr – 29th October

November:

  • Doom 64 – 22nd November

December:

  • Assassin’s Creed Rebel Collection, Black Flag and Rogue bundled together – 6th December
  • Farming Simulator 20 – 3rd December

Coming soon:

  • Return of the Obra Dinn – coming Autumn
  • Outer Worlds – “coming soon”

2020:

  • Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, a release of the Wii U title, featuring exclusive Fire Emblem characters – 17 January 2020
  • Trials of Mana, a remake of the classic – 24 April 2020
  • Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise, a sequel to the 2010 classic – 2020
  • Rogue Company, a shooter from Hi-Rez Studios – 2020
  • Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition, a remaster of the Wii game – 2020
