The Need for Speed Heat mobile app that lets you design your own custom cars now has an AR feature, letting you drop your ride into real life.
Over two million custom cars have been created on the Need for Speed Heat Studio app ahead of the game’s release in November.
Since the app launched at Gamescom this year, fans have been spending an average of 24 minutes designing and customising their perfect vehicles, anxious to put them to the test when the full game drops on November 8th.
A recently added feature will also let players visualise their personalised cars in the real world using augmented reality. Check out your unique rides in vibrant detail by dropping them into your garage, street or living room.
The AR uses environment integration to mimic shadows and reflections and make the cars blend into your environment. Shrink your cars down to the size of a small model, or scale them up to actual real-life size, then rotate and frame them in the perfect position for photos to share with your friends.
You can download the NFS Heat Studio app for Apple and Android devices here. Every week, EA will be adding more cars for you to tinker with in the app until the release of Need for Speed Heat, so there will be plenty of stuff to keep you excited until then.
Need for Speed Heat will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on November 8th.
