Puyo Puyo Champions, the newest instalment in SEGA’s colour-matching puzzle game series has added two new game modes as part of a free update launching today.
Puyo Puyo Champions is a competitive puzzle game in which you are consantly trying to match up four Puyos of the same colour, using reflexes and strategy to best your opponents.
Now, thanks to a free update, players will be able to mix up their playstyle in two new game modes.
‘Lessons Mode’ will cover hundreds of lessons, tips and tutorials from basic controls up to advanced tactics. The four categories of lessons are ‘Beginner’, ‘Intermediate’, ‘Advanced’ and ‘Problems’.
‘Challenge Mode’ will have you competing for high scores in various challenges, inluding score challenges and time challenges. You will then be able to check your rank in online leaderboards.
Puyo Puyo Champions is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. You can get more details on the game’s official site.
