John Wick Hex, the movie tie-in game from Bithell Games is just around the corner: it’s releasing on PC on 8th October.
In just over two weeks we’ll be able to see John Wick in action in video game form. It’s not an all-out action game, though; it’s a more artistic take on the John Wick franchise. But from Bithell Games – behind Thomas Was Alone, Subsurface Circular and others – we shouldn’t really expect anything less.
John Wick Hex is described as being “fight-choreographed chess brought to life”, which is a fancy way of saying it’s a strategy game. But a strategy game that features plenty of Mr. Wick’s fancy moves, no doubt.
Sadly, there’s no mention of Keanu Reeves reprising the title role, but there is some impressive voice talent to look forward to. Ian McShane and Lance Reddick both reprise their roles from the film series, and Troy Baker joins the line-up as the voice of Hex, the titular antagonist.
John Wick Hex will arrive on PC and Mac exclusively via the Epic Games Store on 8th October, priced at £15.99. You can watch the new trailer below.
