An interactive educational tool based around the world of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is coming on September 10th, entitled Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece.
Ubisoft takes a lot of pride in the level of research it puts into the Assassin’s Creed games, making sure it recreates each time period as accurately as possible.
It makes sense then Ubisoft would introduce this sort of educational game mode into the Assassin’s Creed series, letting players experience what life was like in that era of history without the conflict or gameplay you would normally find in the games’ story campaigns.
You will be able to freely explore what is, according to Ubisoft, “the most accurate 3D interactive reconstruction of Ancient Greece ever made”; or you can take guided tours to learn more about this fascinating place and time. At the end of each tour, you can also use the dialogue system to complete short quizzes on what you’ve learned.
Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece will be free for all owners of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, but will also be available to purchase as a standalone product exclusively on PC via Uplay.
You can keep up with all the latest Assassin’s Creed news on the official website.
