A roadmap for World War Z‘s second season of free content has been revealed, including new PvE missions and a new wave-based horde mode.
Saber Interactive and Focus Home Interactive have already given World War Z players a load of free updates since its release earlier this year; and we can expect even more in the coming months, with the dawn of the game’s second season of free content.
Inspired by Paramount Pictures’ hit film, World War Z is a third person co-op shooter set during a zombie apocalypse. The first season already added a Weekly Challenge mode, as well as the Tokyo mission “The Undead Sea” and the six-skulls extreme difficulty setting.
The second season roadmap teases two new PvE missions set in Moscow and New York, a wave-based horde mode “Horde Mode Z”, PvE crossplay support, a new Special Zombie type, a new weapon, cosmetic items and more.
World War Z is available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC via the Epic Games Store. To find out more about the upcoming content updates, check out the game’s official website.
