Assassin’s Creed Invades Season 2 of Mighty Quest for Epic Loot

Ubisoft’s mobile dungeon-crawling looter, Mighty Quest for Epic Loot, has just begun its second season – and a familiar face has made an appearance for the occasion.

Mighty Quest launched this summer, instantly becoming a popular mobile title. It offers simple hack and slash gameplay, but the hook is the constant search for better loot. Which you might have guessed from its full title.

Split into seasons, the game offers cyclical rewards for completing a number of challenges. New challenges appear every week, and completing them helps players edge ever closer to better gear.

Season two of the game launched yesterday, along with a familiar face: Assassin’s Creed II protagonist Ezio has made an appearance, along with a limited Assassin’s Creed crossover.

This season’s main reward is full set of gear based around Ezio’s iconic outfit, along with a series of missions themed around assassins.

Some welcome changes have also come to the latest version of Mighty Quest along with season two. Max player level has been increased to 60 instead of 30, which means extra rewards and extra strength for players who’d already maxed out. A new difficulty level has been added too: Nightmare, just in case Extreme wasn’t quite extreme enough for you.

New dialogue has been added at the end of Act 10, so there’s reason to go back into those levels even if you’ve already completed them. Normal mode also gets a little more difficult as the time limit has been changed from three minutes to 2 minutes 30 seconds. There’s also the usual UI enhancements and gameplay improvements that come along with any game update.
