The first chapter of Lionbite Games’ strategic adventure game Rain of Reflections launches today on Steam, telling the story of a scientist in a harsh dystopian world.
Sweden-based indie studio Lionbite Games is today releasing its narrative adventure game Rain of Reflections on PC via Steam.
Set in a dystopian world suffering from a global infertility pandemic, the debut chapter “Set Free” follows the story of Wilona, a scientist who is performing experiments on the planet’s lastborn child in an attempt to find a solution. When Wilona begins to question the ethics of her experiments, it sets off a chain of events that threatens her life and the fate of those around her.
Rain of Reflections features strategic elements, with the relationships you form with other characters affecting how you can approach various challenges in the game. Your dialogue choices can convince or outsmart others, but they can also have an effect on your friends and foes in combat, turning the tide of a battle at a crucial moment.
Each chapter of Rain of Reflections will tell a standalone story but will also form part of a larger narrative in the world. Chapter 2 “Open Eye” will follow a private investigator in a cyberpunk district called The Cluster, while Chapter 3 “Undercurrent” will shed light on the underground resistance movement.
Rain of Reflections: Chapter 1 is available on Steam. For more details about the game, visit the official website. You can also check out the gameplay trailer below. We’ll have a review of the game soon.
