Wondering how to save your game in Koei Tecmo’s newest RPG, Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout? Here’s what you need to know.
The latest game in the long-running series, Atelier Ryza puts you in the shoes of the titular Ryza, a young woman who has just discovered the enchanting world of alchemy. Along with her two friends, Lent and Tao, she sets out on a journey that’ll have her fighting foes, collecting material and discovering many secrets.
But Ryza’s journey isn’t a short one: to make the most out of it, you’ll want to save your game regularly. There’s only one place in Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout that you can save your game: but thankfully it’s very easy to access.
Ryza’s bedroom, in the Stout household, is the place you’ll need to go to save your game. If you’re out in the field, enter the Stout living room, then head up the stairs to Ryza’s room. On her desk is a diary; interact with it and click ‘save game’.
Hey presto – your game is saved. Thankfully, you don’t need to trek back to Ryza’s house every time you need to save, either. You can fast travel back to Ryza’s room at any point, as long as you’re not in battle or a cutscene. On Switch, hit the ‘-‘ and you’ll be prompted to confirm whether you want to fast-travel back to Ryza’s room or not.
Make sure you save regularly while playing Atelier Ryza as to not lose any progress!
