Life is Strange 2 is Getting a Full Season Boxed Release

Square Enix has announced that the complete season of Life is Strange 2 is heading for a boxed release as well as a Collector’s Edition late this year.

Life is Strange 2, the episodic graphic adventure game from Dontnod Entertainment is set to release its fifth and final chapter on December 3rd this year. However, if you’re new to the the game, you’ll be pleased to hear that there are plans to release the full season in a boxed bundle on the same day.

Sean and Daniel Diaz are two young brothers who run away from home after a tragic incident. As Daniel starts developing unusual telekenetic abilities, your choices as Sean will have a far-reaching effect on the people you meet and the relationship between the two brothers.


The complete season of Life is Strange 2 will be releasing as both a Standard and Collector’s Edition, both including a variety of exclusive bonus content.

Both versions will include the bonus game: The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, as well as Arcadia Bay patches which can be used to customize Sean’s in-game backpack. However, the Life is Strange 2 Collector’s Edition will also feature a 4 x 7″ vinyl box set of Jonathan Morali’s official score, a 32-page hardcover artbook, Sean and Daniel vinyl figurines and a Collector’s Edition presentation box.



The Life is Strange 2 Collector’s Edition will be a strictly limited single print run, and is available exclusively through the Square Enix store.

Life is Strange 2 Standard Edition and Collector’s Edition bundles will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC from December 3rd in Europe/Middle East/Africa and February 4th 2020 in North America/Latin America. For more information about the game you can check out the official website.
