One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows Closed Beta Coming Soon

Bandai Namco has announced that the Closed Beta for One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows is coming soon on PS4 and Xbox One.

Based on the hit anime/manga series, One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows will be launching a closed beta on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 between the 1st and 4th of November.

Published by Bandai Namco and developed by Spike Chunsoft, this upcoming fighter lets us create our own custom avatar and advance through the ranks of the Hero Association. Training and taking on various missions, we will be able to interact with some of the memorable characters from the One Punch Man universe; including the man himself Saitama, a hero so powerful he can end any fight with a single punch.

As the manga was originally created as a parody of standard anime/manga tropes, it’ll be interesting to see what they do with One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows.

In a new gameplay trailer, we see how random events such as asteroid crashes or supervillain interference can spice up the 3v3 battles. We are also shown a mechanic whereby your avatar must hold out against an opponent until a more powerful hero can arrive to battle them for you.

You can gain access to the One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows closed beta on Xbox One or PlayStation 4 by joining the EP!C Rewards Club. The beta will be running from November 1st to November 4th. Check out the new gameplay trailer below.
