Annapurna Interactive has announced that acclaimed space exploration mystery game Outer Wilds is cleared to land on PS4 next week.
An open world mystery about a solar system trapped in a time loop, Outer Wilds released on PC and Xbox One earlier this year to great critical acclaim.
Publisher Annapurna Interactive has now announced that PS4 owners won’t be missing out for much longer, with the game arriving on the platform next week on October 15th.
Outer Wilds is brought to us by Mobius Digital (a studio founded by Heroes actor Masi Oka), and traps the player in a 22-minute time loop that restarts when the local sun goes supernova.
The game features a multitude of unique planets, packed with secrets and hidden locations that change over the passage of time. Using a variety of high-tech gadgets, explore the solar system and learn details that might help unravel parts of the mystery and eventually break the cycle.
Outer Wilds is currently available on Xbox One and PC, with the PS4 version arriving on October 15th. For more information on the game, read our review of the Xbox One version, or check out the official website.
