The latest PlayStation 4 System Software Update has brought the mobile streaming Remote Play feature to Android devices, as well as a few other improvements.
The PS4 Remote Play App is now available on the Google Play Store for any device running Android 5.0 or higher.
This feature allows players to stream games from their PlayStation 4 to their phones or tablets.
The DualShock 4 wireless controller can also now be connected via Bluetooth to the Remote Play App on Android and iOS devices, if they are running the most up-to-date version of their operating systems.
The new update has also made some improvements to the Party feature, with higher quality audio and better network connectivity. The maximum number of Party users has increased from eight to sixteen, and in the US only, there is improved accessibility support with chat transcription.
