Does Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s story have multiple endings, or is it out of your lightsaber wielding hands?
One of the best things about the Star Wars: Jedi Knight series and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was that you could choose how your story ended. Did you support your allies or watch them go up in smoke. So you might expect Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order to have multiple endings.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t. You can push a Stormtrooper off a ledge and run along a wall, but you’ve got no real control of the game’s story. As satisfying as it might be to electrocute your crewmates, that’s not an option open to you.
No matter what you do, no matter how many chests you find, you can’t change the story. There are no narrative detours of the kind found in Telltale games; the story keeps going and you’re along for the ride.
If you do want the opportunity to choose your destiny, aside from Knights of the Old Republic and Jedi Knight, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed lets you choose how your story ends and also gives you the opportunity, via a piece of non-canon DLC, to murder Han Solo.
But as far as Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order goes, your story will always end the same way.
