Forced Perspective Puzzler Superliminal is Coming Next Week

Six years after releasing a viral demo video, Pillow Castle has finally given us a release date for Superliminal, the mind-bending forced perspective puzzle game.

I remember seeing the Tech Demo video that indie studio Pillow Castle put out in early 2014 to show off the concept of “forced perspective puzzles”.

It currently sits at around 1.9 million views on YouTube, and it’s easy to see why it went viral in the way it did, with its awesomely mind boggling perspective mechanic that is simultaneously very simple and almost impossible to explain with words.

Almost six years on and the concept has been expanded into a full game called Superliminal, with a new launch trailer that released yesterday announcing the game will be available on the Epic Games Store from November 12th… in four days time!

The trailer is giving off some serious Portal and The Stanley Parable vibes, so definitely give it a watch below; if only because this forced perspective thing really needs to be seen to be comprehended.

Superliminal is open for pre-purchase now, exclusively from the Epic Games Store. For more information about the game, you can head over to the Pillow Castle website.

"Cynical", "sarcastic" and "irritable" are just some of the words that have been used to describe Diggy B, the other words usually being four letters long and incredibly rude. He can normally be found with a controller in his hands and strives to provide acerbic rants on all things gaming, from Gears of War to Candy Crush.
