One blade is good, but two blades are better. That’s why you’ll want to get the double bladed lightsaber in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
Allowing you to perform a quick flurry of attacks, the double bladed lightsaber is great for crowd control in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Even against single foes you might prefer using it over the standard lightsaber, however.
Obtainable from many workbenches throughout the game, it’s not possible to complete Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order without gaining the double bladed lightsaber at some point. Let’s face it though, you want to unlock it as soon as possible, don’t you?
To unlock the double bladed lightsaber as soon as you possibly can, simply play through Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order‘s first planet, Bogano, until both Zeffo and Dathomir are opened up. At that point, travel back to your ship and interact with the planet map. You’ll see that Zeffo is marked as the planet to visit to continue the story, but don’t go there, go to Dathomir instead.
Once you’ve landed on Dathomir, leave the ship and go exploring. The enemies on Dathomir are pretty strong at this point of the game, so be careful if you get into combat. Put the difficulty down a little if you run into any problems. Ultimately you want to progress through Dathomir as much as you can.
When you start making your way across an old bridge and encounter a strange wanderer, turn back, drop down the ledge in front of you and go to your right. You’ll find a workbench that allows you to upgrade your lightsaber to the double bladed lightsaber. You can then return to your ship and continue your adventure.
