Ubisoft has revealed details of the fourth and final season of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Year 4, introducing two new operatives and a reworked map.
Ubisoft announced Operation Shifting Tides at the Rainbox Six Siege Pro Leage Finals in Tokoname Japan, giving players a first look at the latest operatives joining Team Rainbow from the NIGHTHAVEN Special Intervention Group.
Kali is a medium speed and medium armour attacker. As the head of NIGHTHAVEN, she jumps into the fray with a devastating bolt-action sniper rifle, custom built and capable of punching holes in multiple walls or defenders with a single shot.
One of her top agents Wamai is also joining the team; a medium speed, medium armour defender with a magnetic gadget that can yank grenades out of the air, rendering them useless or even turning them against the enemy.
Players will be able to try out these new operatives in a newly re-imagined Theme Park map, which has had a major renovation since players last saw it. The Rail Platform has been removed and the East and West sections have been brought closer together; the East section interior has also had a major overhaul and you’ll notice a lot of other changes too.
The test server for Operation Shifting Tides goes live today. Check out the ‘Gameplay & Tips’ video below for a better look at the new features, or head over to the Rainbow Six Siege website for more info.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
