Aside from Cal Kestis, the star of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is undoubtedly your buddy droid, BD-1. But when do you get him?
A tiny, cute droid, BD-1 is Cal’s best friend on his journey through Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. He heals Cal, he points out secrets and collectibles, and he also guides him to where he needs to go. But Cal doesn’t start out with his robot companion: for the first portion of his adventure, BD-1 is nowhere to be seen.
But don’t worry: you don’t have to wait long until you’re acquainted with each other. You’ll have your robot companion within an hour of starting Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
After the (incredibly impressive) opening setpiece that sees Cal escape from Imperial forces, he’ll eventually find himself on a new planet: Bogano. Bogano is the very first planet you’ll visit in Fallen Order, and it’s here you’ll find BD-1.
Shortly after disembarking from your ship, you’ll come across the first save point. It’s just after you’ve interacted with this that Cal will meet BD-1. The pair are inseparable from here on out! If only we could have one in real life…
