Season One of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is live across all platforms, giving players a new Battle Pass and a tonne of free content.
With the launch of Season One, every Modern Warfare player can now access the largest free content drop in Call of Duty history, including new multiplayer maps, game modes, events, co-op experiences and more.
Fans will also be able to get additional content through the Season One Battle Pass, which can be purchased using 1,000 Call of Duty points. The Battle Pass will let players earn up to 100 tiers of content, and those who complete every tier will actually win back more COD points than they spent on the pass. A Battle Pass Bundle is also available for purchase which includes 20 tier skips, letting players get some of the Pass content instantly.
Crash, a fan favourite multiplayer map from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is now available to play, remastered and reimagined as a helicopter crash site in Urzikstan. Two other maps from Call of Duty 4, Vacant and Shipment, will also be appearing later in the season.
In the new game mode “Reinforce”, players must capture points to revive fallen team mates. A hectic survival mode called “Infected” will also be added later in the season; as well as an “O.S.P. Gunfight” mode, which is like regular “Gunfight”, but players start with no weapons and have to find them throughout the map when the battle begins.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Check out the Season One trailer below for more information, or head over to the game’s official blog.
