Dead Cells DLC ‘The Bad Seed’ is Coming in 2020

Dead Cells has made more than a great impression on players since its release – and next year, it’s getting even more content.

Fans of Dead Cells will be ecstatic to hear that Motion Twin and Evil Empire have revealed loads of new content headed to the game at the beginning of 2020.

The Bad Seed DLC is said to include two new biomes, several new scary monsters as well weapons and a boss battle.

This new DLC will introduce new path choices that will be available near the beginning of the game ensuring that no matter where the player is or what their skill level, everyone will have access to this new content.

The new biomes are The Arboretum, a paradise with cute creatures that aren’t exactly as they seem; and The Swamp, where an overgrown settlement is inhabited by spear-wielding, blow-gunning creatures.

Beating these new challenges will awards the player with unique armour, a double slot weapon as well as a loyal mushroom companion.

The Bad Seed DLC will not change the free post-launch content updates that the game developers have promised in the past, but revenue from this upcoming paid content will allow the team to continue to expand Dead Cells in the future.

Becca knew that she would be addicted to video games for the rest of her life when she saw the first pixelated zombie shambling across her TV screen while playing Resident Evil 3. She particularly enjoys being scared, laughing until she cries, or just plain crying while experiencing games. When she isn't playing games she loves spoiling her cat Usagi and eating any kind of sushi she can find.
