6Gears 5

This game is included in Xbox Game Pass

While we think Gears of War 4 is the better game overall – Gears 5‘s open world sections and Jack gameplay functions detract from it rather than add to it – Gears 5 really shows off what the Xbox One X can do.

Not only does Gears 5 manage to look absolutely sublime, but it does so while running at native 4K resolution and 60 frames per second on Xbox One X. That is very impressive indeed.

The benefits of 60 frames per second are clear when playing Gears 5: it’s just so much more responsive to control, which means it’s more enjoyable to play. For the first time there’s parity with campaign and multiplayer, too, so its not jarring when you move from one to the other.

As far as Xbox One console exclusives go, Gears 5 is easily one of the best Xbox One X enhanced games available.
