Out now from Typhoon Studios, Journey to the Savage Planet is first-person adventure all about exploring an unknown planet.
When your ship comes to land on a newly-discovered planet, it’s your job to venture outside and research the flora and fauna that surrounds you. It’s a daunting task by yourself – so can you play Journey to the Savage Planet in co-op?
The answer is yes: in fact, Journey to the Savage Planet has been designed with co-op play in mind. It’s easy to set up a game with another player: simply select “co-op” from the main menu, either create a new game or load a save, and invite a player in.
However, there are a few caveats you need to be aware of. Player two’s progress will not be saved, so if they want to play again by themselves, they’ll need to start all over again. They will unlock any trophies/achievements as they play, though. Only player one’s progress will be saved, so bear that in mind before jumping into a co-op game.
Journey to the Savage Planet can only be played in online co-op, too. There is no split-screen or couch co-op mode. So unless you have two consoles and two TVs set up in your house, you can’t play with whoever’s sat besides you.
