While there isn’t a great deal of use for money in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, you will want some to buy ingredients, components and recovery items from time to time.
Unusually, you don’t really earn any money in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot by emerging victorious in battle. Instead, you have to make money yourself by selling items.
While you can pretty much sell any item in your inventory in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot by visiting a vendor, there are certain items that have no other use. Items such as Beast Claws are known as exchange items, and should be sold to provide you with Zeni. You’ll find that some gifts are exchange items, too.
To make Zeni (money) quickly and easily in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, do a bit of hunting. Simply fly around until you find an area where there are animals, then land, approach the animals, and press the Circle button on PS4 or B button on Xbox One when prompted. Your character will charge forward and strike the animal, obtaining meat and/or valuable animal parts. You’re not guaranteed to get anything other than meat all the time though.
For guaranteed saleable parts, knock out dinosaurs that roam some maps. Simply keep your distance and fire Ki blasts at them until they go down. Dragons can be shot out of the sky, too. Engage in a spot of animal hunting now and again alongside battling dinosaurs and dragons, and you’ll be rich in no time.
