Journey to the Savage Planet is a first-person adventure game all about exploring an unknown planet.
And with a whole planet to explore, it’s surely important that you don’t lose any progress. So how do you save your game in Journey to the Savage Planet?
I’ve got both bad news and good news. The bad news is that you can’t save your game manually. Never. Not at all. The good news is that Journey to the Savage Planet autosaves itself fairly regularly, so chances are, you’ll never lose much progress should the worst happen.
I wouldn’t advise simply quitting your game anywhere, though. If you’re simply out and about wandering when you decide to turn it off, chances are the game won’t remember your precise location. To be on the safe side, I’d always recommend fast-travelling back to the Javelin (your home ship) before quitting the game. That way you can be sure all your progress has been saved – and better yet, anything you’ve collected will be banked into the Javelin’s supplies.
If you do have to quit in a hurry, keep an eye out for the autosave symbol popping up in the corner of your screen. Make sure it’s just finished saving before you exit the game. Journey to the Savage Planet saves very regularly, so you’ll never lose much progress.
