Dating is hard enough – but what about when you’re nothing but a disembodied hand?
Table Manners, a physics-based dating sim coming to PC on 14th February wants to find out just that. As a floating hand, you’ll take your suitors out on a range of fancy dinner dates where it’s pretty much a cert that chaos is going to ensue. After all, pouring wine, lighting candles or offering up the simplest of romantic gestures isn’t easy when your entire being is just one hand.
Developed by Echo Chamber Games and being brought to PC by publisher Curve Digital, Table Manners will have you interacting with everything in reach. The fun is in the game’s unpredictable physics – and of course how your unwitting date is going to respond to your actions.
Expect your dates to get wine poured over their head, food spilled over them and perhaps a tabletop fire – but it’s all because you mean well, right? They just don’t understand the struggles of life without an entire human body.
It sounds like the sort of comedy chaos that one might find inside a VR title, but Table Manners is very much non-VR, designed for standard play. Give the trailer a watch below that’ll give you a taste of what to expect.
Table Manners is coming to PC on Valentine’s Day (14th February). It’ll be available on Steam for £17.99/$19.99, and you can add it to your Wishlist right now, if that’s something you like to do.
