Samurai Shodown is one of the best fighting games currently available, and it’s soon going to get even better thanks to the arrival of yet more characters.
While Samurai Shodown‘s first season pass, adding four additional characters to its roster, was given away free to early adopters of the game, everyone’s going to have to pay if they want to add yet another four characters making up the game’s second season pass.
Three of the four characters being added via season pass two have been revealed, with the fourth remaining a mystery for now. Mina will be the first to arrive. Wielding a bow, she first appeared in Samurai Shodown V, and she’ll be available to download in February. Fearsome ninja Sogetsu will follow after Mina, who first appeared in Samurai Shodown IV. Then Iroha will arrive, who was first seen in Samurai Shodown VI. She comes equipped with butterfly swords.
Currently available on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia, Samurai Shodown will also find its way to a new platform in February. The Switch version of the game will release on the 25th, just in time for the next season of characters.
