Can You Play Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl – Gold in Local Co-op?

Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl - Gold Review
Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl - Gold

New Switch game Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl – Gold comes with some multiplayer options, but does it let you play in local co-op?

Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl – Gold, like its wordy name suggests, is a dungeon crawler. Set in a crazy and colourful world, it sees you heading out on missions, slaying enemies and collecting loot. It’s fun, but we all know that games of this kind are more enjoyable with a friend along for the ride.

Sadly, there are no options to play Snack World in local co-op or multiplayer.

While the game does support multiplayer, it’s online or via console-to-console connection only. There is a “local play” option in the menu, but it requires you to be in the vicinity of players with their own Switches and own copy of the game.

So bad news for anyone who was hoping to play Snack World in couch co-op with local buddies. There’s no way to play the game on the same screen with your friends.
