Two new games are now available to download for free on Epic Games Store: Kingdom Come Deliverance and Aztez.
Both titles are available to be downloaded now and will remain available until next Thursday, 20th February, at 4pm GMT. As always with Epic Games Store, there’s no catch; you simply need to have an account to add the free games to your library.
Kingdom Come Deliverance is a particularly good game to receive, completely gratis. It’s well-timed; it’s exactly two years since the game launched , and if you’ve been holding off for playing it for whatever reason, now’s a great time to jump in.
A huge story-driven RPG set in a medieval Bohemia, we loved Kingdom Come Deliverance when we first played it. (Well, we still do). Here’s what Rich had to say in his review:
In Kingdom Come: Deliverance you’re just a small cog in a reasonably big world, but your actions feel like they have worth and impact. You’ll prove yourself to be helpful many a time, but often you’ll have to rely on others for assistance, or to even do the job for you. It goes a long way to make the land of Bohemia a living, breathing place rather than just your personal playground, and I admire that. It’s by no means free of frustration, but Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a special game. It’s a game that isn’t afraid of being different – of not holding the player’s hand every step of their adventure – and for that, it’s an experience to be treasured.
So, it’s pretty good then.
The second game free this week on Epic Games Store is Aztez, something rather different in comparison. With a striking monochrome art style, Aztez mixes beat ’em up combat and traditional turn-based strategy to come up with something rather original. We haven’t played this one ourselves just yet, but we may just be giving it a try now it’s free.
Remember to claim both games before next Thursday, 20th February, where they’ll be replaced with Faeria.
