How to Throw Grenades in Zombie Army 4: Dead War

Zombie Army 4

While guns are good for putting down the undead in Zombie Army 4: Dead War, sometimes you’ll want to use something with a little more oomph.

You’ll find all manner of grenades, traps and mines laying around in crates in each and every one of Zombie Army 4: Dead War‘s environments. You can carry up to four of them at any one time, but you might be wondering how you use them.

You can switch between the various grenades, traps and mines you’re carrying by pressing left and right on the d-pad. You’ll see the one that’s currently equipped become bright white in the lower left hand corner of the screen.

When you have a grenade equipped, you can throw it by pressing the right shoulder button. Be careful though, as if it lands close to you you’ll also get caught in the blast. Other players will be injured, too, if playing on hard or higher difficulty.

When it comes to traps and mines, you need to hold down the right shoulder button for a short while to place them down when they’re equipped. And don’t worry, once placed, they won’t harm you unless they go off when you’re near. You can also disarm traps and mines if they haven’t been triggered.

Make use of grenades, traps and mines as often as you can in Zombie Army 4: Dead War. They’ll only go wasted if you don’t, and they can be very destructive.
