Playing Untitled Goose Game? Then you’re undoubtedly making your way through the game’s checklists. Here’s how to get the groundskeeper wet.
Rather than giving you individual missions, Untitled Goose Game offers up a to-do list for each area, that can be tackled in any order you like. The first to-do list concerns the garden, the first area you come across. Here, there’s a groundskeeper, and as that pesky goose you need to antagonise him and steal a number of his belongings. You’ve also got to get him wet.
One of the first things you come across in this area is a tap. It controls a sprinkler within the garden. That seems like the perfect place to get the groundskeeper wet in Untitled Goose Game, but how to get him underneath it?
The first thing to know about Untitled Goose Game is there’s no right or wrong answer. Some tasks have obvious, straightforward solutions. But many of them can be approached in any number of ways. It’s all about observing the area, and seeing how the groundskeeper responds to certain actions.
But here’s how I got the groundskeeper wet in Untitled Goose Game. If you move an object, the groundskeeper will move them back into place. Some things he’s more keen to act quickly on than others – like the big bags of fertiliser that are piled by the gate.
I grabbed one of these bags of fertiliser and dragged it directly under the sprinkler. I then quickly moved back to the tap just outside of the garden, and waited until the groundskeeper went to pick up the bag. Then I turned on the tap before he moved away. Voila – one wet (and very annoyed!) groundskeeper.
