It’s been rumoured for a few weeks, but it’s finally here: a new Nintendo Direct.
Well, a Nintendo Direct mini to be precise. Presumably because it’s a little shorter, and there are fewer big announcements than we’d usually expect. Still: it’s a great look at what’s coming up for Nintendo Switch owners in the coming weeks and months.
We get a look at Xenoblade Chronicles and Bravely Default II, as well as a glimpse at Pokémon Sword and Shield’s upcoming expansions and some updates coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
From outside the in-house Nintendo sphere, 2K is launching a bunch of its killer franchises on the format for the first time: Borderlands, Bioshock and XCOM are all coming to Switch in the form of collections.
There’s also new free DLC landing for Ring Fit Adventure today, and a free-to-play period for ARMS. As usual, we got a glimpse of some newly announced games, too. Give the Direct a watch below, and we’ll have some breakout news to follow.
