Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is Free This Weekend

Assassin's Creed odyssey

I can complete a 60+ hour game in one weekend, right?

Well, you can certainly give it a shot: Ubisoft is giving players the chance to play Assassin’s Creed for free from tomorrow, March 19th, through to March 22nd. It’ll be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC. If you’ve been waiting to get your hands on the game you can even pre-load Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on PlayStation 4 and Uplay right now so it’s ready to go tomorrow.

In this instalment of the Assassin’s Creed series, players will go from outcasts to absolute legends in Ancient Greece while discovering unexpected secrets from their past. If you’ve always wanted to wear one of those weird helmets with the mohawks, you’ve come to the right place.

During the free weekend, players will have access to all main game content as well as Ezio’s Roman Set through Ubisoft Club.

You don’t have to worry about having to start the game over if you decide to purchase it afterwards, either; all progress made during the free weekend will carry over (as long as you buy it on the same platform). Players are required to have an Xbox Live Gold subscription to access the free weekend on Xbox.

So if you’re stuck indoors and you’ve been meaning to play Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, this weekend is the perfect time to give it a shot.
