The Easter Bunny is Coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons

You’ve got a new visitor to look forward to in Animal Crossing: New Horizons soon; the Easter bunny.

Well, sort of the Easter bunny. They call themselves Zipper, but they’re a bunny. And they deliver Easter eggs. So I think we’re safe in calling them the Easter bunny.

Zipper will be arriving in Animal Crossing: New Horizons as part of a free seasonal update. Called Bunny Day, it’ll run from next Wednesday, 1st April for two weeks until 15th April. During that time, Zipper will visit you and hide a number of pretty eggs around your island. Expect to be digging them up and fishing them out of your ponds for a couple of weeks.

The eggs that Zipper brings to you can be used to craft some exclusive items and attire. There’s some pretty Easter-egg themed furniture, an Easter-themed gateway and a very pretty Easter-egg themed garland to wear on your head.

There’s no need to download any additional content; providing you have the game’s day one patch (which, if your Switch has been online at any point in the last week, you will have), you’ll automatically take part in Bunny Day. Just be sure to visit your island between 1st-15th April.
