Where to Watch Disney+ in the UK

disney+ UK

After the longest five month wait ever, Disney+ is finally available in the UK. If you’re diving in to the service today, here’s what you can watch it.

Disney+ is Disney’s very own on-demand streaming service. It brings together hundreds of Disney original films and TV series, including brand new and exclusive shows like The Mandalorian and The World According to Jeff Goldblum. It’s now the best place to see Marvel and Star Wars movies, as well offering a back catalogue of Pixar and Disney Classics. There’s even some Fox-owned brands in there too, like every episode of The Simpsons.

Rest assured that no matter what devices you have in your home, chances are you’ll have something that will let you access Disney Plus. From TVs to smartphones to your games consoles, many devices let you download or access the Disney+ app. Here’s the full list.

Your PC

If you have a PC, you can access Disney+ from within your browser. Simply head to the Disney Plus website and log in or sign up.

Smartphones

Simply head to the app store on your Android or Apple device and search for “Disney Plus”. The app, Disney+, will be available as a free download. Simply download it, log in to your account (or sign up), and you’re ready to go.

Tablets

Much like smartphones, Disney+ is available on Android tablets, iPads and Amazon Fire devices. Simply do a search in the app store for “Disney Plus”. Download the app, log in or sign up, and voila.

TVs

If you have a smart TV, you may be able to access the Disney+ app straight from your TV’s built-in menu. It’s not available on every brand just yet, however. You’ll need either a Roku TV, a TV powered by Android, an LG or Samsung TV to be able to download and access the app.

Sky

If you are a Sky Q customer, you can download the Disney+ app straight from your Sky Q box. Head to your menu and navigate to ‘apps’. Disney+ should be there ready for you to log in. If you don’t see it, update your box from the settings.

Set-top boxes

If you have an AppleTV box, a Roku box or a Fire TV device, you’ll be able to sign into the Disney+ app from there. If you have Chromecast, you can also access Disney+ via that, but it’ll mean downloading the Disney+ app from your phone and sending it to your TV.

Games consoles

If you have an Xbox One or a PS4, you can download the Disney+ app from the relevant store. Simply head to ‘apps’ and you’ll be able to download it to your console’s hard drive.
