Aeronautica Imperialis: Flight Command Takes off This May

Aeronautica Imperialis Flight Command (1)

Based on the Games Workshop property of the same name, Aeronautica Imperialis: Flight Command is all set to take off in May for PC.

Developed by Binary Planets, Aeronautica Imperialis: Flight Command lets players take the role of either an Imperial Navy Flight Commander or a Skwadron Kommanda of the Ork Air Waaagh! As such, they’ll command units such as Thunderbolts and Fightas, engaging in intense aerial dogfights while also blowing up ground units left, right and centre.

Aeronautica Imperialis: Flight Command isn’t an action game though. In line with the board game on which it’s based, it offers turn based battles which require strategy. With models licensed from Games Workshop, players will choose one of the two factions and lead them to victory across seven unique story-driven scenarios. And while Aeronautica Imperialis: Flight Command is primarily a single-player game, it will also feature head-to-head online gameplay. Only those who deploy the best tactics will emerge victorious, however.

Launching on PC via Steam in late May, Aeronautica Imperialis: Flight Command will retail for £18.99/$24.99. Check out the trailer below to see it in action, then perhaps add it to your wishlist.
