The prequel and sequel to Deadly Premonition finally has a release date: it launches exclusively on Switch on July 10th.
Featuring the return of FBI Special Agent Francis York Morgan, Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise takes players to present-day Boston, where they’ll begin a new investigation into the Le Carré serial murders.
Being an open-world adventure, you’ll be able to freely explore the town of Le Carré, either on foot or by skateboard. And when you’re not too fussed about pushing on with the game’s story you can engage in a number of mini-games, including bowling and skateboard challenges. In fact, skateboarding appears to be quite a large aspect of Deadly Premonition 2; you can even improve your skateboard to allow it go faster and make it easier for you to perform tricks.
A suitably obscure release date trailer has been released for Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise which you can watch below. And if you haven’t yet played through the first game, it’s currently available with a 50% discount on the Nintendo eShop, making it just £12.49/$14.99.
