Ion Fury, the old-school first-person shooter developed by Voidpoint, will land on consoles this May.
Starring Shelly “Bombshell” Harrison, who also featured in 2016’s Bombshell by Slipgate Ironworks, Ion Fury takes players back to the golden age of first-person shooters. There’s no regenerating health or other modern-day trappings – it’s all about running and gunning while exploring huge maps.
Previously only available on PC – our review of which is available here – Ion Fury tasks players with taking down transhumanist mastermind Dr. Jadus Heskel, who’s been unleashing his monstrosities onto the streets of Neo DC. Thankfully you’ve got a wide assortment of weapons to make the job fun.
Launching 14th May on PS4, Xbox One and Switch, Ion Fury will be available to pre-order digitally soon, and with a discount to boot. A physical release is also planned for PS4 and Switch on 26th June. Check out the console release date trailer below.
